Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Accounting Assistant

Full Job Description:

Keltic is looking for an Accounts Receivable professional who excels in building strong, lasting relationships with our customers while ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for numbers to contribute to the efficient financial operations of our company. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

End of day sales reconciliations to assure bank balancing
Provide additional accounting support as required
Record cash sheets
Calling for past due accounts
Apply cheque and EFT payments to customer account
Accounting support will be
Deposits
Post institutional sales to spreadsheet
Daily filing
Customer service related to accounts
End of day reports
Petty cash
Answer overflow phone calls
Coverage for other admin roles
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
Bookkeeping experience is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Very comfortable using computer software.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
