Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Wine Specialist / Brewer to join our team. This role involves overseeing the packaging and production of wine products, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, with a focus on wine production, and possess mechanical knowledge to support manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the craft of wine-making while gaining valuable experience in food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

Manage the packaging process of wine products, including bottling, labeling, and sealing.
Operate equipment such as filteration, bottling and degassing machinery used in manufacturing and wine fermentation.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Assist with the mechanical maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Follow safety protocols related to safety, sanitation, and equipment operation.
Support inventory management by tracking materials and finished products accurately.
Participate in quality control checks to ensure product consistency and excellence.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during production activities.

Skills

Knowledge of custom wine creations specific to customer demands.
Experience with brewing and or wine specifications is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Basic math skills for quick calculation of ingredients, inventory tracking, and quality assessments.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a production setting.

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
