Whether supporting the main kitchen or leading specific stations, your skills will help deliver exceptional service to our guests and clients. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
Support the Executive Chef or First Cook in meal assembly, plating, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
Help with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
Handle food preparation tasks efficiently, including chopping, portioning, and cooking various ingredients
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
Contribute to catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food with precision
Support the team during busy service periods by managing multiple stations and ensuring timely delivery of meals

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles demonstrating knowledge of special dietary needs
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food industry settings
Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and fine dining techniques that elevate presentation quality
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods for diverse cuisines
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper storage procedures
Experience in catering services or large-scale food service operations is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
