Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, providing essential heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning services across commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of HVAC systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of skills. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing installations, and ensuring optimal system performance while adhering to safety standards and schematic diagrams.

Duties

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and schematics
Perform tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and leak repairs
Conduct welding as needed for system repairs or modifications
Service boilers and other mechanical equipment associated with climate control systems
Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs
Perform routine maintenance to prevent system failures and extend equipment lifespan
Repair appliances related to HVAC systems including thermostats, fans, compressors, and valves
Assist in construction or retrofit projects involving HVAC infrastructure
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each service call

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Mechanic with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and maintenance procedures
Knowledge of welding, refrigeration, boiler operation, and construction practices
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively
Prior experience working with HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance is highly desirable
Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
Relevant certifications or licenses related to HVAC or mechanical work are required - gas license is preferred but not required
