Responsibilities

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and food safety regulations.
Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management such as Micros POS.
Ensure compliance with food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards to promote a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors to keep the kitchen stocked with fresh ingredients.
Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in staff scheduling to optimize team coverage during peak hours.
Maintain a thorough understanding of restaurant management practices, hospitality standards, and food industry trends to continuously improve service delivery.

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment with demonstrated leadership skills.
Extensive food service experience encompassing food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling procedures.
Familiarity with restaurant management tools such as Micros POS systems or similar platforms.
Strong background in customer service with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
Experience managing kitchen operations or working in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is essential.
Previous roles involving team management, interviewing candidates, cash handling, and overseeing restaurant operations will set you up for success.
