Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Food Counter Attendant, where you'll be the friendly face and efficient operator behind our food service counter. Your energetic approach will ensure customers receive prompt, courteous service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash transactions, change, and receipts.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance the dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food prep area, serving counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to ensure safety for both customers and staff.
Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout shifts.
Support kitchen staff during busy periods by assisting with basic food preparation tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow in the food industry.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
