Job Summary

Join our bustling bakery team as a dedicated Baker, where your passion for baking and food preparation will help us serve a vibrant, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your enthusiasm and skill will contribute to delivering fresh, delicious products that delight our customers every day. This position offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic bakery setting, working alongside a motivated team committed to excellence.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and creativity
Decorate cakes and desserts using cake decorating techniques to meet customer specifications and quality standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and portioning ingredients efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in accordance with food safety regulations
Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer takeout, ensuring presentation quality
Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about baked goods and offering product recommendations when needed

Requirements

Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or working in a busy kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and adherence to food safety standards
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced bakery environment
Excellent attention to detail for decorating cakes and maintaining product consistency
Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
Prior experience with packaging baked goods for retail or wholesale distribution is a plus
