We are continuing to grow and are looking for an energetic, driven, and people-focused Regional Sales Manager to join our Western Canadian Sales Team. This position may be based out of either Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Area Sales Manager – Western Canada, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, coaching, and supporting a high-performing Field Sales Team within an assigned territory.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced industrial sales environment and enjoys balancing people leadership, strategic growth, customer relationships, coaching, and business development.
The successful candidate will lead by example — developing proactive sales strategies, participating in joint customer calls, mentoring Account Managers, and creating a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, customer service, and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed sales and profitability goals
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and support Field Sales Representatives within the assigned region
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning
- Participate in joint sales calls and customer meetings to support team development and key account growth
- Assist Account Managers with proposal preparation, presentations, and RFP responses
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying new market opportunities
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Credit, Engineering, and Production teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Track and manage sales activities, itineraries, reports, training initiatives, and expenses
- Analyze market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activity to support strategic decision-making
- Promote a culture focused on accountability, communication, continuous improvement, and teamwork

- Embraces technology and is proficient with CRM systems, ERP software, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office programs
- Understands the flow of product, logistics, customer service, and pricing within a distribution environment
- Has industrial sales experience and understands the importance of responsiveness, urgency, and customer care
- Is committed to continual personal and professional development
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of people leadership and performance management experience in a sales environment
- Industrial sales or industrial distribution experience required
- Post-secondary education in Business or related field is considered an asset
- Sales Management training is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required

Pay: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
