Branch Manager
As Branch Manager you are responsible for leading daily retail operations, driving financial growth and business development, and expanding our presence in the town of Leamington. Our Branch Manager plays a critical role in the daily oversight of our retail location with respect to quality, sales, member service and coaching team members.
Position Type: Vacant Position
Salary Range: $80,000 -$115,000
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, developing and actioning successful business development plans.
- Monitoring weekly, monthly, and semi-annual sales plans.
- Meeting with members to assess their needs and match products/services to meet those needs.
- Providing basic financial planning and investment advice to our members.
- Preparing personal lending, residential mortgages, and/or member contracts.
- Meeting with employees regularly to mentor and coach in their development.
- Demonstrating exceptional professionalism and confidentiality.
- Overall responsibility for the retail location including risk management and the premises.
- Adhering to and complying with established policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Operating with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for include the following:
- A solid knowledge of financial products and services.
- Post-secondary education in finance or business.
- A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in managerial positions.
- At least 5 years of prior experience in the financial services industry is required.
- Strong ability to successfully motivate a team to achieve sales goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven success in a sales environment.
- Flexibility for occasional travel within southwestern Ontario.
These additional skills are also considered assets:
- Experience working in the credit union system.
