The Job Shoppe is hiring a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Tecumseh, Ontario. This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Program and is a great opportunity for a creative and motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, content creation, and brand development. You will support marketing initiatives that promote job opportunities, community engagement, and employer branding.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will support the planning, creation, and execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities may include:
Content Creation and Management
- Develop and schedule content across social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
- Create digital assets such as graphics, short videos, and promotional materials
- Maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice
- Build and manage content calendars aligned with campaigns and events
Social Media Strategy and Engagement
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries
- Identify and incorporate trending content into campaigns
- Support engagement through reels, stories, polls, and interactive content
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content and updates
Email Marketing and Communication
- Assist in creating and sending email campaigns and newsletters
- Support list segmentation and audience targeting
- Track performance metrics such as open and click-through rates
Analytics and Reporting
- Monitor key performance indicators including engagement, impressions, and conversions
- Assist in preparing monthly reports with insights and recommendations
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM dashboards
Brand and Campaign Coordination
- Collaborate with recruitment and leadership teams on marketing initiatives
- Assist with employer branding content including photos, videos, and success stories
- Support seasonal and campaign-based marketing efforts
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms
Event Marketing Support
- Create promotional materials for events and community initiatives
- Capture photos and videos at events for social media use
- Assist with live event updates and post-event content
Collaboration and Administrative Support
- Participate in team meetings to align on priorities and messaging
- Support coordination with external partners or vendors
- Assist with marketing planning and project tracking
- Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives
Position Requirements:
- Strong interest in digital marketing, social media, or communications
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with social media platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable learning new tools and adapting to a fast-paced environment
