Overview

Join our dynamic team as a 15 Passenger Transit Driver, where your energetic spirit and commitment to safety will drive positive experiences for our community. In this vital role, you will operate spacious 15-passenger vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable transportation for our passengers. Majority of the trips are Terrace- Kitimat & Terrace - Prince Rupert.

Duties

Safely operate multiple 15-passenger vehicle on scheduled routes.
Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle, providing friendly support and ensuring comfort.
Maintain punctuality and adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transit operations.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and report any issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with passengers, team members, and dispatchers to coordinate schedules and address needs.
Uphold cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior to ensure a pleasant travel environment.
Document trips, passenger counts, and any incidents accurately in logs or reports as required.

Requirements

Valid Class 4 unrestricted driver’s license, will help to obtain if its the right candidate.
Customer service experience demonstrating patience, professionalism, and empathy.
A working smart phone with data.
