Position Summary
Reporting to the Base Manager, the Aircraft Fuel Manager is required to oversee fueling operations and manage the staff of the Fueling Department. The Fueling Department provides all necessary and required fueling services, including but not be limited to management of the fuel systems, ensuring fuel supply, aircraft fueling/de-fueling, deicing, vehicle fueling and operation of fueling equipment. When not performing fueling duties, this position will also be responsible for offering logistical ground support to air crews and cargo acceptances. Additional assignments will also include general labor duties, loading and offloading aircraft, general housekeeping, data entry, and other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Use of the company SMS site to report any deficiencies, incidents, accidents, and suggestions to enhance the safety of NorthStar Air.
· Oversee testing compliance and procedures
· Oversee company fueling procedures
· Control and maintain Fuel Procedures Manual
· Oversee or assist in as directed the fuel facility related projects within the organization
· Assist in Base Management as required for relief management
· Maintain and manage fuel tracking tools and systems
· Ensure proper maintenance of all fuel systems
· Work with departments to ensure fueling systems meet operational requirements
· Assisting and acquiring contractors with maintenance and repairs.
· Ensuring tracking, maintenance and storage of BATT and BATT related systems.
· Ensure training or training programs for all staff performing fuel duties.
· Working with flight ops to perform companywide De-Ice training.
· Ensuring fuel staff perform and support in all Ground Crew job functions as required.
· All other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
· High School Diploma or Equivalent: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent
educational qualification.
· Verbal Communication: Ability to effectively convey ideas through speech.
· Written Communication: Skill in writing clear, concise documents.
· Language Skills: Ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway (asset).
· Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using digital tools and technology.
· Aviation Experience: Previous experience in the aviation industry (asset).
· Organization: Skill in maintaining order and structure in work environments.
· Prioritization: Ability to focus on key tasks and manage time efficiently.
Working Conditions

The base salary for this role considers a variety of factors, including candidates' knowledge, skills, experience, education, and requirements for this position. Pay: $66,687.89-$94,739.43 per year
