Guest Services Supervisor (Full-Time)

Reporting to: General Manager

Travelodge by Wyndham Thunder Bay is currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and hands-on Guest Services Supervisor to join our leadership team.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys leading by example, and is passionate about guest service, operational consistency, and team support.

The Guest Services Supervisor plays an important role in the day-to-day operation of the hotel and will assist with front desk leadership, guest relations, training support, problem resolution, and overall operational flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and oversee front desk operations during assigned shifts
Assist with guest concerns, service recovery, and escalations
Provide support, coaching, and guidance to front desk associates
Ensure operational standards, cleanliness, and professionalism are maintained
Assist with shift coverage and scheduling support when required
Support communication between departments to ensure smooth operations
Monitor reservations, payments, billing concerns, and daily reporting
Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and teamwork

Qualifications:

Previous hotel front desk or hospitality leadership experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Professional, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset
Experience with hotel PMS systems is considered an asset
Must be comfortable supporting hotel operations in a team-focused environment

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, team-oriented, and capable of maintaining a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and is willing to grow within the hospitality industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
