We are hiring a Client Advisor, Personal Lines, to support our growing Team!
This role is for someone with exceptional organizational abilities and people skills who wants to become a licensed broker within 3-6 months (if you are not a Registered Insurance Broker within Ontario). What you would do:
- Process new insurance applications and policy modifications within our insurance partners’ web portals.
- Assist in the internal auditing process as directed by the Personal Lines Manager.
- Complete quote requests in our quotation management systems as directed.
- Compile electronic application packages for brokers.
- Document all client activity in our Broker Management System.
- Present options for the necessary automobile, property, marine, etc. policies to ensure clients can make informed decisions.
- Identify ongoing coverage needs or opportunities for existing clients regarding their policies, including thorough renewal reviews.
- Assist clients with policy-related changes and inquiries.
- Navigate the claims process with clients when a loss is incurred.
- Research and resolve client problems, acting as the client liaison between insurers when necessary.
- Keep apprised of industry trends, changes, and opportunities as they relate to our clients.

What your background would look like:
- Minimum 1 year working as a RIB is ideal but we are ready to train and help with the licensing path.
- Post-secondary education that is complementary to a related industry is desired.
- CAIB designation is valued but not compulsory.
- Experience with client management software and sales training is valued.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and basic technical competency are expected.
Salary Range $45,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.
