Community Clothing Assistance (CCA) has a job opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that increase awareness of the charity’s programs, services, and community impact. This role focuses on promoting CCA’s initiatives, engaging the community, and supporting fundraising and outreach activities.
The Marketing Coordinator will create marketing content, manage social media platforms, coordinate promotional campaigns and events, and analyze marketing performance to improve outreach results. The successful candidate will work closely with staff and volunteers to strengthen the organization’s visibility and support its mission of helping individuals and families in need.
This position is open to recent graduates with a Canadian post-secondary education.
The successful candidate will secure a 52-week, skill-building, and on-the-job training position. Community Clothing Assistance is offering this position in partnership with the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC). The charity is looking for creativity, dedication, and a strong interest in building a career in marketing and communications.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour shift / 40 hours per week)

Duties
- Develop marketing content including social media posts, promotional materials, newsletters, and website updates to increase awareness of CCA programs and services.
- Manage and maintain CCA’s social media platforms, creating engaging content and interacting with the community to strengthen outreach and visibility.
- Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns and community events, supporting promotional activities that highlight CCA programs and fundraising initiatives.
- Track and monitor marketing budgets for campaigns and promotional activities to ensure effective and responsible use of resources.
- Analyze marketing performance and engagement metrics across digital platforms and campaigns to evaluate success and optimize results.
- Work with staff and volunteers to promote programs, services, and events through marketing and community outreach initiatives.
- Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels and promotional materials.
- Assist in developing partnerships and relationships with community organizations, donors, and supporters to strengthen marketing efforts.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or 1–2 years of relevant experience).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, marketing analytics, and online engagement strategies.
- Interested in creating and acting in engaging videos to promote store activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a non-profit environment.
