Talent Acquisition Coordinator (National)
Reporting to the National Human Resources and Safety Manager, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator works closely with operational leaders to support workforce needs, improve hiring efficiency, reduce vacancy timelines, and support employee retention initiatives.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Company’s recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities across multiple locations. This role manages the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and salaried positions while ensuring a consistent and professional candidate experience.
This role also assists with onboarding coordination, workforce reporting, and maintaining recruitment processes and systems.
This position can be based in Edmonton AB, or Tillsonburg ON.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned positions

Conduct reference checks and pre-employment screening processes

Develop recruitment initiatives for high-volume and hard-to-fill positions

Assist with labour market and compensation benchmarking research

Ensure completion of required hiring documentation

Lead new hire integration and onboarding follow-up

Lead probationary review tracking

Support immigration or temporary foreign worker processes where applicable

Assist with HR projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
-
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

PRP designation considered an asset

4+ years experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination
-
Bilingual in French and English

Experience supporting multi-site or operational environments preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems

Knowledge of employment standards and recruitment best practices
