TIG Welder Operator job description:

Legend Fleet Solutions manufactures interior protection products for cargo vans across Canada, the USA, and Europe. We’re a growing company looking for a skilled TIG Welder Operator to support our production team. This hands-on role focuses on TIG welding and fabrication of high-quality components used in our products. You’ll work as part of a team to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Previous TIG welding experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Operate TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job instructions
Weld, assemble, and fabricate parts according to specifications
Inspect finished welds and components for quality and accuracy
Perform basic grinding, fitting, and finishing work as required
Maintain welding equipment and work area in clean, safe working condition
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Assist team members and support production needs as required
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma preferred
Minimum 3 years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience, preferably on stainless steel and aluminum
Completion of a welding program or equivalent hands-on experience
Valid CWB certification (asset; required for certain projects)
Red Seal Welder certification considered an asset
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Physically able to lift 50-80 lbs and work in various positions
Valid driver’s license
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to work overtime when required
Legally eligible to work in Canada

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
