Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within the food service industry.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
Adhere to sanitation standards and assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols is advantageous
Familiarity with serving, meal preparation, and food handling practices within the food industry or kitchen environment is desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong teamwork skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive work environment

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
