About the Role

As a Guest Services Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, offering warm and professional service in a relaxed, informal setting. You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences by assisting with check-ins, check-outs, inquiries, special requests, and more. Your knowledge of the resort and the surrounding area will help our guests feel welcome and well-cared for throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging guest service
Greet guests upon arrival and departure with enthusiasm and professionalism
Handle check-in/check-out procedures using our Property Management System (PMS)
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in person, by phone, or via email
Share information about the resort, room types, amenities, services, and local attractions
Manage guest room reservations and cancellations following established procedures
Process payments, prepare bills, and balance daily cash outs
Handle guest keys, in-room deliveries, and special requests (e.g., gifts, luggage assistance)
Promote resort services by up-selling room types and recommending dining and activities
Assist with driving guests on property or to nearby locations when required and if qualified to do so
Maintain accurate communication with team members through shift pass-ons and checklists
Support other departments when needed and promote a team-first attitude

Qualifications

Genuinely passionate about providing outstanding guest experiences
Warm, approachable, and professional communication style
Able to remain calm and helpful in high-pressure or guest-recovery situations
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Reliable, punctual, and accountable when managing payments and sensitive information
Able to follow safety and security protocols and use sound judgment when needed
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and be active for up to 10 hours per shift
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Staff Housing

Limited staff accommodation may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is not guaranteed. Shared accommodations include access to kitchen facilities, laundry, and Wi-Fi. Priority may be given to full-time staff or those without local housing options.

Additional Requirements

Criminal Record Check: Required prior to start date.
Reference Check: Two professional references will be contacted.
Driver’s Abstract: Required for roles involving use of company vehicles or driving duties.
Signed Staff Manual Agreement: required as part of onboarding, confirming understanding of workplace expectations and policies
