About the Role
As the Great Room Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll lead daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences. You’ll support and guide the team, maintain high hospitality standards, and work closely with the kitchen and management to deliver consistent, high-quality service across all meal periods. This is a hands-on role ideal for a confident, service-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the highest level of service by exceeding guest expectations to build loyalty
- Supervise daily department operation, including start of shift briefings, section assignments, smooth shift changes, bill discrepancies and end of shift cash remittances and tip outs.
- Oversee food service, and act as an expeditor, when necessary, to ensure the timely movement of completed food orders from kitchen to guest table
- Provide ongoing feedback and training to food & beverage staff to help them improve service and develop their skills
- Serve as a link between the leadership team and employees by communicating departmental goals, handling questions, and helping resolve work-related problems
- Assist in scheduling of F&B staff, while maintaining labor costs
- Committing to guest satisfaction through consistent follow up on all guest issues; delivering outstanding guest service recovery
- Strong and effective communication with all other departments; partnering to ensure property-wide service standards for our guests
- Ensure colleagues have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods being served in the Great Room, Sandbar Bistro and Catering
- Other duties as assigned as this position evolves
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Hotel/Restaurant Management is preferred
- Leadership experience in F&B service, preferably in a hotel environment
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Superior interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of fine food wines and service
- Computer literacy is imperative including Microsoft Office and Point of Sale System,
- Serving It Right certification required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and be active for up to 10 hours per shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Staff Housing
Limited staff accommodation may be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is not guaranteed. Shared accommodations include access to kitchen facilities, laundry, and Wi-Fi. Priority may be given to full-time staff or those without local housing options.

- Criminal Record Check: Required prior to start date.
- Reference Check: Two professional references will be contacted.
- Driver’s Abstract: Required for roles involving use of company vehicles or driving duties.
- Signed Staff Manual Agreement: required as part of onboarding, confirming understanding of workplace expectations and policies
