Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in industrial equipment, troubleshooting, and production line support. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma or degree and a have a minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Set up, adjust, and maintain production lines including fillers, cappers, labellers, and packaging robots
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Respond quickly to line breakdowns and production interruptions
- Install, test, and commission new equipment and production lines
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical drawings
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and sensor diagnostics
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety and quality standards (GMP environment)
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment efficiency and reliability
- Support production team during changeovers and startups
- Calibrate instruments and ensure proper machine settings
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with purchasing when needed
- Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety protocols
- Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with packaging or filling equipment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and basic automation
- Familiarity with PLC systems is an asset
- Experience with CMMS systems is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and balance the immediate and long-term needs of the business
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift loads up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working on the production floor, including standing for extended periods
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO, or similar quality standards
- Experience with robotics or automated packaging systems
