Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard(On call)

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

On Call position requiring full availbility across various healthcare location in Toronto.

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises to ensure a safe and secure environment
Perform patient watch duties, maintaining constant observation and ensuring safety
Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and visitors
Support individuals experiencing crisis situations or requiring additional assistance
Identify and de-escalate potentially aggressive or high-risk situations using approved techniques
Control access to restricted areas and verify identities when required
Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency codes within the hospital
Complete accurate and detailed incident reports
Work collaboratively with hospital staff and emergency responders when required

Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard

Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid security guard license
First Aid & CPR certification required
Ability to work 12-hour continental rotation shifts (days & nights)
Minimum 1 year of experience working with vulnerable populations in a tactical or healthcare security setting
Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
