Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Social Media Summer Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and graphic design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for e-commerce, SEO, and digital marketing strategies, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn about the latest industry tools and trends. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates looking to build their portfolio and develop practical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using tools like Hootsuite and Buffer.
Create engaging visual content using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite to enhance brand presence.
Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve online visibility.
Support the management of e-commerce platforms by updating product listings and promotional content.
Monitor and analyze website traffic using Google Analytics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements.
Proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
Collaborate with the marketing team on brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and content ideas.
Assist with digital advertising efforts, including Facebook Advertising campaigns.
Stay updated on digital marketing trends and recommend innovative strategies to increase engagement.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Creative mindset with an eye for graphic design and visual storytelling.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This internship provides valuable industry experience in digital marketing while allowing interns to develop their skills in a supportive environment dedicated to professional growth.

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Brampton, ON
