Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Crop Care Technician to support our outdoor field production team. This hands-on role focuses on plant health, pest and disease monitoring, irrigation support, and overall crop maintenance to help maximize yield and quality throughout the growing season.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular field scouting for pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
- Assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) implementation
- Monitor and support drip irrigation and fertigation systems
- Conduct pruning, runner management, plant training, and crop maintenance
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and field establishment
- Maintain accurate scouting logs and field records
- Support harvest quality checks and yield tracking
- Operate basic farm tools and equipment safely
- Follow all farm safety, biosecurity, and food safety protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- Interested in working in outdoor fields
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Horticulture or related fields is an asset
- Previous outdoor farm experience is an asset
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg and performing repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license preferred

- Outdoor field setting
- Early morning start times during peak season
- Physically active role involving walking fields daily
