Seasonal Event Security Guard (July–October)

About the Role
Executek International is currently hiring Event Security Guards to support major sporting events, festivals, concerts, conventions, parades, and public gatherings across the Greater Toronto Area.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the security and event industry while working at some of Toronto’s largest and most exciting events throughout the summer and fall season.
Availability Requirement
This role runs from July through October.
Preference will be given to candidates with full availability during July and August, as these are our peak event months.
Position Summary
As an Event Security Guard, you will help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, clients, performers, athletes, and staff.
Our security team members are also considered customer service ambassadors, playing an important role in delivering a positive experience for attendees at large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities
- Access control and credential verification
- Crowd management and guest assistance
- Bag checks and entry screening
- Asset protection and site monitoring
- Patrol assigned areas and report concerns
- Support emergency response procedures when required
- Provide professional customer service and guest directions
- Enforce site rules and safety procedures respectfully
- Assist with event and venue operations as needed
- Complete incident reports and basic documentation
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Valid work permit or study permit (if applicable)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work within procedures
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and large crowds
Preferred (Asset Qualifications)
The following are considered assets and may lead to more shifts and opportunities:
- Smart Serve Certification
- Previous customer service, hospitality, security, or event experience
- Experience working in large-scale events, sports, or entertainment environments

Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
