Location: Ivy. Coffee Shop – Toronto Waterfront

Reports To: Operations Manager / Team Leader (on shift)

Role Overview:

As a Barista at Ivy., you’re not just making coffee — you’re shaping the guest experience from the very first interaction. You’ll craft exceptional beverages, maintain a clean and beautiful workspace, and contribute to a positive team culture. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about coffee, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare all beverages to Ivy.’s quality standards (espresso, drip, teas, and seasonal specials)
Engage warmly with guests and teammates, delivering outstanding service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and dining area
Assist with opening/closing duties as assigned
Operate POS and manage transactions accurately
Support inventory and restocking needs
Follow all health and safety procedure

Qualifications:

Minimum 1–2 years of barista experience is required
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Attention to detail and consistency
A team player with a positive attitude
Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
