POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Server at GRETA, you’re a key part of creating the energy that guests come for. You’ll deliver warm, attentive service while guiding guests through our food, drink, and arcade offerings making every visit feel fun, seamless, and memorable. Beyond service, you'll contribute to a clean and organized environment, assist with restocking and shift transitions, and support your team during busy rushes.
This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to balance great service with great vibes, and has a proactive attitude toward guest satisfaction and safety. You’ll work closely with a supportive team to keep service running smoothly, even during the busiest shifts.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Possess 1-3 years of hands-on experience serving in a restaurant environment is preferred.

Handle physical demands including lifting and reaching, regularly lifting objects up to 25 pounds such as full serving trays, bending to serve food, and reaching .

Confidently upsell food and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales.

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to be trained.

Team oriented mindset with a willingness to support co-workers during busy periods.

Must be 19+ years of age.

Must possess valid SmartServe certification or be willing to obtain prior to first shift.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create exceptional guest experiences through friendly, attentive, and efficient service

Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS
-
Follow all steps of service in accordance with GRETA standards

Educate guests about our diverse drink selection, assisting them in choosing the perfect beverage to complement their experience.

Provide basic guidance on arcade game operation and recommend popular choices to enhance guest enjoyment.

Share the origins and flavours of our authentic international street food options, adding depth to the dining experience.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and honesty in cash handling and POS transactions

Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and setup

Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, stations, and restrooms as needed.

Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to ensure service efficiency

Communicate clearly and collaborate with all team members to support smooth service transitions

Follow all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct

Check guest ID when required and monitor guest behaviour to ensure safe alcohol consumption and compliance with AGCO and SmartServe standards.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS

This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical shifts range between 4–8 hours and may extend into late night hours.
