The Environment & Venues
You will be an event, company, and professional ambassador, covering over 1,000 events annually and managing a unique mix of patients with a service volume of over 5,000 calls.
Professional Sports & Athletics: We are the dedicated team medics for the PWHL Toronto Sceptres, Hamilton PWHL, Hamilton Hammers (AHL), and Oshawa Firewolves, in addition to covering Angelstone Equestrian Events in Caledon and Erin.
Major Venues: TD Coliseum, FirstOntario Concert Hall / The Studio, Tribute Communities Centre, Mattamy Athletic Centre, and Toronto Union Station.
Event Types: Live concerts, film productions, community festivals, industrial sites, and corporate activations.
Your Role & Clinical Scope
Full Scope & Treat-and-Release: Operate to your maximum clinical capabilities. Our comprehensive medical directives include treat-and-release protocols, event-specific directives, and the continuous option to patch directly to our staff medical director.
The Action: Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls on-site. Provide first aid, patient assessment, and emergency care in dynamic, public-facing environments.
The Fleet: Operate our diverse fleet of emergency vehicles, including ambulances, emergency response vehicles, and AmbuCarts.
The Team: Work collaboratively with event staff, allied emergency services, professional teams' medical staff, and fellow event medics. Maintain readiness of medical equipment and complete required clinical documentation.
Compensation, Scheduling & Travel
Primary Care Medic (PCP Level): Starting at $25.75/hr
Advanced Care Medic (ACP Level): Starting at $35.00/hr
Commitment: Flexible scheduling requiring a minimum of just 5 days and 1 weekend per month (Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual, and On-Call roles available).
Provincial Deployments: We offer services across Ontario. If you are deployed to an event outside the GTHA, we provide your travel, accommodations, and per diems.
Comprehensive Protection: Full WSIB and malpractice insurance provided. We supply all necessary PPE, conduct bi-annual quantitative fit testing, and provide uniforms at reasonable rates with up to 75% reimbursement.
Requirements
Diploma in Primary or Advanced Care Paramedicine.
Current A-EMCA certification (or A-EMCA Pending for recent graduates).
Provincial ACP certification for Advanced Care roles (must obtain ACLS certification within 4 months of employment).
Valid and current BLS CPR certificate.
Clear and current Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS) (less than 3 months old) and agreement to complete a VSS waiver annually.
Valid Driver’s Licence, along with a personal car or reliable transportation to commute within the GTA and surrounding areas.
Must possess safety boots and high-visibility EMS/medic pants.
Professional, reliable attitude with strong clinical decision-making skills.
Pay: $25.75-$35.00 per hour
