WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join the DECIEM Design team as the dedicated creative partner for NIOD, operating as an agile, in-house messaging authority within our global creative structure.
In this fast-paced environment, you will lead 360° multi-channel copy execution, including campaign concepts, product positioning, packaging text, digital assets, and visual merchandising layouts, while establishing specialized tone of voice guidelines (spanning the formal, the playful, and the beautifully abnormal) and a copywriting "center of excellence" to ensure global consistency across all customer-facing touchpoints.
A critical requirement of this role is the advanced cognitive agility to decipher complex, scientific chemistry data and translate highly technical product formulations into precise, legally compliant, and consumer-accessible narratives that balance strict regulatory standards with high-end commercial appeal.
To qualify, candidates must present a relevant portfolio alongside 5–7 years of copywriting experience (preferably within an agency, startup, or fast-growing consumer brand environment), impeccable grammatical precision, the operational maturity to incorporate cross-functional stakeholder feedback seamlessly, and a distinctively sharp, intellectual sense of humor.
PAY RANGE
The anticipated base salary for this position is $ 85,000 to $ 90,000.
Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Lead 360° Campaign Copywriting: Drive the creation of compelling copy for brand marketing campaigns, spanning campaign headlines, product messaging, social media, emails, and diverse branded materials.

Collaborate on Product Positioning: Work in close creative partnership with the Brand team to build foundational concepts, unique selling propositions, and strategic product positioning.

Define Global Tone of Voice Guidelines: Establish and execute clear copy guidelines for the business to ensure absolute tone consistency across all internal and external departments.

Build a Copywriting Center of Excellence: Create a centralized hub of style guidelines and mastery for DECIEM brands, with a dedicated strategic focus on elevating DECIEM and NIOD.

Communicate Brand DNA: Deeply understand and express the unique core DNA of our brands through creative copy on product packaging, marketing assets, and all customer-facing touchpoints.

Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Present conceptual copy and creative proposals directly to the VP of Brand, Creative Director, Art Director, and Head of Art & Design for approval and collaborative development.

Decipher Complex Beauty Chemistry: Masterfully absorb highly detailed, complex scientific chemistry data and translate it into accessible, engaging narrative text for the beauty consumer.

Manage Website Copy Development: Support and oversee copy updates for DECIEM digital platforms and websites, ensuring every word perfectly aligns with the established brand voice.

Mentor and Align the Writing Team: Act as a central communication link, keeping the wider copywriting network fully updated on any major brand direction shifts or strategic changes.

Ensure Editorial Quality and Agility: Review ongoing internal and external communications for brand accuracy, managing multiple projects simultaneously with high responsibility, precision, and agility.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

5–7+ Years of Advanced Copywriting Experience: Proven track record creating multi-channel copy (social, digital, packaging, and internal/external communications), ideally within an agency, startup, or fast-growing DTC consumer brand environment.

Versatile & Strategic Storytelling: Exceptional ability to write across a diverse spectrum of tones—from formal and highly intellectual to playful and beautifully abnormal—with a strong background in creative product concepting and positioning.

Scientific Communication & Problem-Solving: A future-thinking outlook with the unique ability to decipher complex, technical issues (such as detailed beauty chemistry) and translate them into crystal-clear, engaging text.

Operational Excellence & Agility: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resolutive multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, utilizes copy management systems, and takes full ownership to deliver projects flawlessly on time.

Impeccable Communication & Cultural Alignment: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills rooted in a relevant degree (English, Journalism, Copywriting) or equivalent experience, combined with absolute grammatical precision and a sharp, cheeky sense of humor.
