Project Description
Total Systems Guyana Inc. (TSG) is seeking a suitably qualified Pump Operator for a field-based assignment in Guyana. This is a fixed-term six-month contract role aligned to pumping operations supporting coiled tubing interventions and bull heading jobs in offshore and related rig-based environments.
The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Service Supervisor during execution of well intervention activities, support safe and efficient equipment operations, and assist with overall rig up and rig down of pumping equipment.
This role requires prior offshore experience, strong English communication skills, and demonstrated familiarity with HT400 (ACE System) and N2 equipment.
Services Required
- Operate high-pressure pumping equipment in accordance with approved procedures, work instructions, and job requirements.
- Prepare equipment for service, perform routine maintenance, and complete required function testing before and during operations.
- Support rig up and rig down of pumping equipment and associated job spread components.
- Collaborate with the Service Supervisor during well intervention execution, following standards, work methods, and best practices.
- Maintain compliance with internal safety, quality, and HSE standards, as well as applicable site, vessel, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clear operational records and communicate equipment status, readiness, service issues, and job progress to the appropriate operational stakeholders.
Duties Include
- Operate high-pressure pumping equipment safely and effectively in accordance with job design, work instructions, and site requirements.
- Prepare equipment for use, perform routine maintenance and function testing, and ensure equipment is ready for service before mobilization and execution.
- Perform rig up and rig down activities for pumping equipment and associated support equipment at the worksite.
- Operate and support the use of HT400 (ACE System) and N2 equipment, where applicable to assignment requirements.
- Work closely with the Service Supervisor and other crew members during well intervention operations to support safe, efficient, and well-controlled execution.
- Ensure all required inspections, maintenance checks, and functional tests are completed and documented before and during operations.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, equipment care, and operational discipline throughout the work period.
- Ensure compliance with internal SQ and HSE standards and contribute to days of service with no SQ-HSE issues.
- Support the identification, reporting, and resolution of equipment, process, or HSE concerns during the job.
- Enforce stop-work expectations, hazard awareness, fit-for-work requirements, and incident reporting obligations in accordance with company HSE expectations and site requirements.
- · Maintain accurate operational records, handover notes, service documentation, and job-related reports as required by the assignment.
Constraints and Special Considerations
- This is a six-month fixed-term contract aligned to the current manpower forecast for the role.
- The role is intended for offshore operations and requires prior offshore experience.
- The assignment may involve rig-based work in offshore and onshore operating environments depending on project needs.
- Candidate must be able to mobilize to Guyana and work in a structured, safety-critical, client-facing oilfield environment.
- Candidate must be willing to work under rotational or operational schedules based on vessel, rig, and field requirements.
- Candidate must be comfortable working within a controlled workforce framework where technical approval, deployment suitability, and operational supervision remain with the end operator.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Pump Operator role or in a closely comparable high-pressure pumping operations position.
- · Demonstrated experience in offshore operations.
- · Strong operational knowledge of pumping-equipment preparation, routine maintenance, function testing, rig up, rig down, and field execution support.
- · Experience with HT400 (ACE System) and N2 equipment.
- · Completion of Service Operator competencies, or an equivalent level of competence gained through prior industry experience.
- · Valid OPITO HUET and CA-EBS certification.
- · Proficiency in English.
- · Strong communication, teamwork, operational discipline, and equipment-care awareness in high-risk operating environments.
- · Valid passport and ability to travel, mobilize offshore, and satisfy deployment readiness requirements for the duration of the contract.

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
