Key Responsibilities:
Hair Services
- Provide professional haircuts, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments based on client needs and preferences
- Deliver customized hair solutions based on hair type, texture, and condition
- Recommend appropriate styles, treatments, and service upgrades during consultations
Scalp Therapy & Treatments
- Assess scalp conditions such as dryness, dandruff, oil imbalance, sensitivity, or buildup
- Perform therapeutic scalp treatments including exfoliation, detoxification, hydration therapies, and stimulation massages
- Use professional tools and devices such as steamers, scalp brushes, and high-frequency equipment
- Educate clients on proper scalp care routines and recommended home-care products
Client Consultation & Experience
- Conduct detailed consultations to understand client goals and expectations
- Clearly communicate treatment plans, results, and aftercare instructions
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene, comfort, and premium client experience throughout each visit
Front Desk & Reception Support
- Welcome and assist clients with a professional and friendly approach
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling using salon systems
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and POS transactions when required
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain front desk organization, cleanliness, and retail presentation
- Assist in resolving basic client concerns or escalate when necessary
Sales & Business Development
- Actively promote salon services, treatments, packages, and seasonal offers to increase bookings
- Upsell and cross-sell services such as scalp therapy, conditioning treatments, grooming, and add-ons
- Recommend retail products based on individual client needs and hair concerns
- Encourage rebooking and support client retention initiatives
- Build strong client relationships to increase referrals and repeat visits
- Support management in identifying opportunities for service improvement and business growth
- Participate in promotions, events, and content creation when required
- Track and achieve personal service and retail sales targets
- Contribute ideas to improve client engagement and overall business performance
Sanitation & Safety Standards
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Maintain clean tools, equipment, and workstation at all times
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the salon team to ensure a seamless client experience
- Participate in training sessions, meetings, and skill development programs
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and growth-oriented workplace culture
Skills & Qualifications
- Passion for beauty, wellness, and continuous growth
- Valid Ontario Hairstylist License required
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in hairstyling /scalp therapy
- Strong expertise in haircutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing environments considered an asset
- Comfortable using appointment scheduling and POS systems; training will be provided

This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience from the moment clients calls or walk through our doors until they leave.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, sales-oriented, and passionate about beauty, wellness, and client care. In addition to managing front desk operations, the Front Desk Associate will assist in promoting services, memberships, packages, and retail products while helping maintain a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Experience & Reception
- Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive first impression
- Manage client check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and online inquiries promptly
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using booking software
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate client records and appointment information
Appointment Management & Administration
- Coordinate daily schedules for salon and med spa professionals
