Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Cook/Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met consistently. The Cook/Chef will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that satisfy our customers and uphold our restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
Serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for staff and customers
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during meal service times

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Experience with meal preparation, kitchen operations, and food industry best practices is preferred
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and menu development is advantageous
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering high-quality food service
