Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various commercial and institutional spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
Clean and sanitize kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises

Qualifications

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus
