The Renewal Room is a culturally responsive, BIPOC-affirming psychotherapy practice serving adults and young adults across Ontario. We specialize in working with individuals navigating complex mental health concerns, including bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD), OCD, anxiety, and depression. We also work with clients within the context of cultural identity, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, and intergenerational stress.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate independent contractor psychotherapist with at least 2 years of clinical experience working with bipolar disorder, BPD, and OCD.
This is a fully virtual role, ideal for therapists who value flexibility, autonomy, and working within a supportive group practice structure.
What you bring:
- Registered Psychotherapist (RP or RP-Qualifying) in good standing with CRPO. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
- Master’s degree in one of the following: Social Work, Psychotherapy, Counselling Psychology or Clinical Psychology
- Demonstrated experience working with mood disorders, couples therapy and individual therapy. Experience with bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder (BPD), OCD, anxiety, and depression is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience with multiple therapeutic modalities, at least one of the following: ERP, DBT, ACT, CBT and Somatic Therapy
- Professional liability insurance, eligible for registration with a designated professional regulatory body (CRPO) and experience using JaneApp and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated ability to work with empathy, compassion, and attunement, particularly with clients experiencing complex and high-acuity presentations. Strong capacity to build and maintain positive therapeutic alliances grounded in trust, collaboration, and respect.

Compensation:
- The payment model is based on a split structure with the opportunity for split increases over time
