Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Housekeeping Room Attendant and be the cornerstone of creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout guest rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and dedication will directly impact guest satisfaction, ensuring every visitor feels valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the vibrant hospitality industry while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces.
Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens efficiently to meet guest needs.
Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy, inviting, and well-maintained.
Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and cleaning agents to uphold safety standards.
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to protect yourself and guests from hazards.
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management.

Requirements

Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and custodial practices.
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and walking throughout the shift.
Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters teamwork and guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment or experience in hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
