BELTING LABOURER

Aggregate Equipment (Atlantic) Ltd. is a leading supplier for the construction and mining industries in Atlantic Canada. We are a dynamic, growing, and locally owned and operated company. We provide sales, parts, and service for rock crushing, screening, drilling, and paving equipment. Our success is built on the superior product lines we represent, longstanding relationships with customers, and an effective and dedicated team.

We have an immediate requirement for a Belting Labouer to work in our Belting Division. This general labor position will lead to training to be a Belting Splice Technician.

Job Description

· Learning to install, repair and splice conveyor belts safely and effectively

· Working outdoors and indoors year round

· Servicing Atlantic Provinces

· Participating in safety training, and abiding by the safety standards of each worksite

· No set shiftwork

Qualifications

· Valid Class 5 License and must be insurable

· Clean criminal abstract

· Ability to climb stairs, scaffolds etc. Ability to lift /carry tools and equipment
