Seeking a full time insider to work at our Truro, NS branch. Responsible for prepping, baking products, oven tending, order taking, customer service, cleaning tasks. Full time available for someone with an open availability, especially if you can work closing shifts. Ability to progress to a shift runner if you perform well. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ASSISTING WITH IMMIGRATION.
Compensation:
-17 per hour with increases upon completion of training. The more tasks you can effectively do the more you will be paid.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble high-quality pizzas and other menu items efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times for customers
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu options, and upselling additional items to enhance their experience
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas to meet health standards
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supply needs
Qualifications
- Previous food preparation or food service experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
