Our Line Cooks are integral members of the kitchen team, working under the guidance of the Head Chef to deliver consistently exceptional dishes. This role requires precision, teamwork, and a passion for culinary excellence to ensure every plate reflects our commitment to quality. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items to exacting standards of quality and presentation.
Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency in flavour and portion sizes.
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation throughout service.
Assist with daily food preparation to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and seamless service during busy periods.
Uphold strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
Monitor ingredient freshness and communicate any supply needs to the Sous Chef.
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in executing seasonal menus and specials.
Handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a focus on quality.
Participate in regular team meetings and training to improve skills and performance.
Contribute to a positive kitchen environment by fostering teamwork and mutual respect.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in hospitality.
Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
A passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to culinary excellence.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Valid Food Safe certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
