We are seeking dedicated and hardworking plant enthusiasts to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for plants and gardening, with the ability to perform various tasks that contribute to the growth and maintenance of our garden center. We are currently recruiting for individuals in all areas including Nursery Sales Associates, Front of House, Fashion/Giftware Associates, and Nursery/Field Labourer. These roles require physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about plant care and nursery operations. In these roles, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain the health and appearance of our plant displays, and support the day to day operations of the gardening center.

Duties
- Assisting homeowners & landscapers with the selection & purchase of plant material based on their specific requirements.
- Merchandising of products including plants, shrubs, trees, pots, and fountains.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery environment to company standards and customer expectations.
- Processing of customer purchases in an accurate, efficient and friendly manner.
- General customer service (purchases, returns, loading vehicles, answering phones, and product knowledge).
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Working with other departments as requested.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient nursery operations.
Requirements
- Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Sound knowledge of trees and shrubs as evidenced by work or home gardening experience is required.
- Retail experience in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A background or interest in gardening is highly desirable.
- Flexibility availability, must be required to work weekends.
- Steel toe boots/shoes are required.
- Physically fit in order to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, and bend for up to 8 hours daily.

Pay: $19.50-$22.50 per hour
