You will
- Work and liaise with people across the company including acquisition, development, construction, accounting, asset management and leasing in order to understand the upcoming capital needs of the Company
- Prepare external financing materials, including financing presentations for debt financings, both first and second mortgages.
- Source and structure debt financing for acquisitions, development projects and income producing properties.
- Contribute to the timely completion of real estate acquisition and financing due diligence processes/requirements
- Develop deep relationships with lenders, including banks, credit unions and non-bank lenders.
- Serve as a mentor to junior team members, actively supporting their development through day-to-day coaching, knowledge sharing, and best practices
You have
- A University degree or diploma in Real Estate, Business or Finance
- A minimum 10 years of experience in the Finance sector, with at least 7 years in the Real Estate industry
- Experience with financing residential developments and/or commercial properties
- An understanding of real estate fundamentals and valuation principles, and experience working with proformas and underwriting deals
- A proven track record of deal execution, including preparation of financing presentations and negotiation of loan terms/agreements
- A well-developed network of contacts in the lending and real estate community
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and advanced level Excel skills

Salary range
- $150,000 - $200,000 per year estimated, based on experience.
