About the Role

Marlbank Digital is hiring a Performance Marketing Manager with previous agency experience managing DTC/eCommerce clients.

This is not an entry-level marketing role. We're looking for someone who has already worked at a performance marketing or digital agency, owned multiple client accounts, managed Meta campaigns hands-on, and communicated directly with clients.

If you're currently working at an agency managing eCommerce brands and want more ownership, more direct exposure to founders, and the opportunity to help build an agency from its early stages, we'd love to talk.

About Marlbank Digital

Marlbank Digital is a growth marketing agency focused on helping early-stage DTC brands find product-market fit and scale.

The company was started in late 2025 by two founding team members from Pilothouse Digital, our partner agency.

We help brands go from early traction to scalable revenue through paid social advertising.

We're hands-on, move fast, and care about outcomes over everything.

What You'll Own

You'll manage a group of DTC client accounts across:

Meta media buying and optimization
Client communication and performance reviews
Growth and testing strategy
Creative strategy and ad copy
Performance reporting and analysis

You'll work directly with founders and be responsible for both the strategy and day-to-day performance of your accounts.

What We're Looking For

Agency experience managing DTC/eCommerce clients is required for this role.

You should:

Have 2+ years of experience at a performance marketing or digital agency
Have personally managed multiple DTC/eCommerce client accounts
Have strong hands-on experience running Meta ads
Be comfortable leading client calls and communicating performance
Understand CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS, MER and eCommerce unit economics
Understand creative testing and paid social strategy
Have experience with Meta Pixel, CAPI, Shopify and eCommerce tracking
Be able to diagnose performance problems and determine what to test next
Be organized, proactive and comfortable owning your accounts

What You'll Be Responsible For

Client Management

Managing day-to-day client relationships
Daily communication with clients in Slack
Running bi-weekly performance reviews
Communicating results, strategy and next steps

Strategy

Product and brand positioning
Customer persona mapping
Identifying winning angles and offers
Building testing roadmaps based on performance
Turning data into clear growth opportunities

Meta Media Buying

Full ownership of Meta ad accounts
Daily budget management and optimization
Campaign launches, scaling and account structure
Pixel, CAPI and event tracking
Running 2 to 4 new tests per week per client

Creative Strategy

Developing new creative ideas and angles
Writing ad copy and testing new messaging
Turning performance insights into creative direction
Working with client content and creative teams

Requirements

2+ years of performance marketing agency experience
Experience managing DTC/eCommerce clients
Strong hands-on Meta advertising experience
Experience owning multiple client accounts simultaneously
Based in Vancouver or Victoria, BC
Available to work in person 2 to 4 days per week for the first 6 months
