Overview

Join our dynamic banking team as a Mandarin-speaking bank teller, where your enthusiasm and language skills will help us deliver exceptional financial services to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will be the friendly face of the bank, providing personalized assistance, handling transactions efficiently, and promoting our financial products with confidence. Your energetic approach will contribute to creating a welcoming environment that encourages customer trust and loyalty. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly in Mandarin and English, establishing a positive rapport from the moment they walk in.
Process a variety of banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash handling with precision.
Manage cash drawer operations and ensure proper cash management and cashiering procedures are followed at all times.
Identify customer needs and promote relevant financial products or services through effective upselling techniques.
Assist customers with account inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide clear explanations of banking policies and procedures.
Maintain compliance with security protocols by monitoring for suspicious activity and safeguarding sensitive information.
Support team efforts by participating in sales initiatives and contributing to achieving branch goals through proactive customer engagement.

Experience

Proven experience in customer service or retail sales, preferably within financial services or banking environments.
Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail and accuracy in math calculations.
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse clients.
Knowledge of banking products, financial services, and sales techniques such as upselling is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
Prior experience with cash management systems or cashiering is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
