The Opportunity & Team
Omicron is hiring a Project Coordinator to support our expanding portfolio of commercial, residential, institutional, industrial, and renewals projects, and strengthen our integrated design–build delivery model. This role will manage day‑to‑day project activities and act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects, with accountability for coordination, cost tracking, and communication.
You’ll join the Construction team reporting to the Construction Manager, and work closely with project managers, architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, subtrades and client representatives. The team is known for technical depth, cross‑disciplinary collaboration, and you’ll contribute to work that accelerates decision‑making, deepens alignment across disciplines, and elevates project quality from concept to completion.
What You’ll Do

Project Delivery

Contribute to the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects—ranging from small to large scale projects—across all phases, from feasibility and planning through to construction and final handover

Support overall project performance in terms of cost, schedule, quality, procurement, and documentation, while adding value through proactive construction management practices

Coordinate and engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and trades, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist the Construction Manager with planning, tendering, trade coordination, and change management, and, where appropriate, undertake Project Manager responsibilities on smaller assignments with oversight

Maintain project records in accordance with Omicron’s Construction Process

Track schedules, budgets, submittals, tenders, and approvals; prepare regular project status and monthly reports

Record and distribute meeting minutes; maintain logs for drawings, shop drawings, changes, and site instructions
Support permitting, insurance, and regulatory requirements, integrating zoning, bylaw, and code compliance

Contracts & Cost Control

Assist with subtrade pre‑qualification, tendering, RFQs, addenda, and bid evaluations

Prepare subcontracts, authorizations to proceed, change orders, and invoice templates
Review invoices against progress and schedule; support cost tracking and change analysis

Project Close‑Out

Coordinate deficiency resolution, walkthroughs, and consultant and client inspections

Collect, review, and hand over close‑out documentation, including O&M manuals, warranties, and occupancy requirements
What You’ll Bring

Technical Expertise

Strong proficiency in MS Office with working knowledge of MS Project

Experience with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and construction documentation

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and contract fundamentals

In‑Person Work Environment
We are a full in‑office organization because our integrated design–build model thrives on in-person connections. When architects, engineers, designers, builders, and project managers collaborate face‑to‑face, we solve problems faster, make better decisions, and maintain the exceptional level of coordination our work demands.
That said, we get that life happens. If you need to work from home occasionally for personal reasons (an appointment, school drop‑off, etc.), that’s completely fine — just let your leader know. We trust our teams to manage their time responsibly while staying connected to the work and to each other.
Total Compensation
At Omicron, compensation is transparent, fair, and designed to reflect your experience, contributions, and long‑term growth.
The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 – $90,000. This range reflects progression from learning the ropes to consistently delivering excellence. Fully established hires typically start near the midpoint; the higher end is reserved for individuals who bring deep expertise and sustained impact. Offers below midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop.
