Full job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Activity Leader to join our team for this summer season. The successful candidate will assist in gathering the students, helping, and leading a variety of activities for our students. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about working with young people and enjoys a lively, fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Leading and facilitating group activities, games, and sports while ensuring student safety and engagement.
Providing instruction and encouragement to support students’ personal growth, teamwork, and skill-building.
Creating a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to participate.
Planning and running age-appropriate activities tailored to students' diverse interests and needs.
Supervising students during activities and transitions while maintaining appropriate supervision ratios.
Assisting in behavior management and resolving conflicts using positive communication techniques.
Acting as a positive role model, demonstrating respect, sportsmanship, and empathy.
Collaborating with staff to coordinate daily schedules and ensure smooth transitions between activities.
Attending staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required.
Taking photos of students during activities for documentation purposes.
Submitting daily reports on activities, student participation, highlights, and any incidents.
Keeping accurate records of student attendance and reporting any medical or behavioral issues.
Follow all program policies regarding child protection, confidentiality, and emergency procedures.

Requirement:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a similar position is an asset.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for student engagement.
First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Schedule:

Monday to Saturday.
From July 2026 through part of August.

Education:

High School Diploma (required).
Professional English Working Fluency.
