Full job description

OJCR Construction Ltd. is a growing civil construction company specializing in underground infrastructure, excavation, and site servicing. We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to support excavation and underground infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

Efficiently and safely operate excavation equipment including but not limited to: Caterpillar Backhoes, Crawler mounted Excavators, Skid Steer, Front loader, Mini Excavators as required in different construction sites
Complete equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, locates, etc
Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed
Coordinate equipment, materials, and labour requirements
Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Maintain job site productivity and quality standards

Requirements

5+ years experience in operating heavy machinery
Knowledge of site servicing, trenching, and pipe installation
Training records (Working at heights, confined space, etc)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
English language proficiency
