ITS Electronics would be interested in receiving resumes for the position of Junior RF Design Engineer

ITS Electronics designs and manufactures a range of high performance satellite communications products including customer specified frequency converters, power amplifiers and oscillators for commercial, military and aeronautical applications. In order to address the growing demand for its products, ITS Electronics is seeking candidates for the position of Junior RF Design Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

Performing RF designs consisting of cascaded analysis, circuit design, EM simulation, and verification
Supporting current designs and future opportunities
Bench testing and operating test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power meters, signal / noise generators, etc.
Undertaking fault diagnosis and resolution from system level down to component level
Recommending design changes to our products, eg for performance or obsolescence, and then incorporating those changes
Proactively identifying and recommending opportunities for product or process improvement
Interact effectively and efficiently as part of a multi-functional team
Coordinating with Production and Testing Departments for solutions to issues arose during production process

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Good knowledge of RF/Microwave theories in system and component levels
0 to 2 years related experience in RF designs
Proficiency in Electronic Design Automation tools (e.g. ADS, Momenum, HFSS, Genesys, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess a team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership
Effective written and verbal communications in English

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate degree (or higher)
Experience implementing frequency synthesizers using PLLs
Hardware bench skills (soldering, troubleshooting)
Knowledge of cleanroom processes and HMIC design techniques
Canadian security clearance
