We are looking for a Full-time permanent Administrative Assistant to the Director of Marketing & Enrolment.

The Administrative Assistant to the Director of Marketing and Enrolment provides administrative and budget management support to the Director of Marketing and Enrolment and other team members, ensuring the efficient operation of the department. This position serves as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Director to balance the multiple competing priorities of the role and also ensure the associated departments have the support they need.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, departments across Lakeland, and members of the public in support of donor relations, alumni relations, marketing, communications, enrolment, and recruitment initiatives.
Play a key role in project management, using software to help the department plan, track and collaborate on projects.
Organize and support meetings, creating dashboard reports, accurately input and extract data info for the director.
Help with creating, posting, and sharing information on the college's intranet and assisting Lakeland College department's in using the platform effectively.
Support templated graphic design projects, coordinate meetings, prepare dashboard reports, and leads and trains on the department’s SharePoint site.

Job Requirements

Minimum one-year post-secondary certificate in a related field.
Ability to perform and communicate in a highly professional and effective manner, in a rapidly changing environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with and process confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
Project management training and experience using software to manage numerous projects.
Ability to exercise initiative, judgment and problem-solving skills to complete work, take responsibility and make decisions based on solid analysis and interpretation.
Work effectively with Lakeland College employees, faculty, students, donors, alumni, business representatives and the public in a collegial, cooperative and respectful manner.
Proficiency is required in the use of word processing, database and spreadsheet, presentation, email, and electronic calendar software.
Previous budgeting experience and knowledge of accounting is essential.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft, HubSpot and Raiser's Edge is an asset.

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Permanent AUPE appointment on the Vermilion campus commencing June 8, 2026. The current salary range is $50,241 - $63,314 per annum and includes a generous benefit package and pension plan.
