This role is responsible for the design, reliability, and lifecycle management of the college’s IT infrastructure environment. This includes network, systems, identity, endpoint, and related platforms that support college operations across both campuses. The position is a member of the IT leadership team and works in close partnership with the Manager, IT Operations to ensure infrastructure capabilities align with service delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure and Security team, consisting of related analysts and specialists.
Lead and act as key project stakeholder for Lakeland College IT Infrastructure and Security projects.
Develop Infrastructure budgets, spending forecasts, trend analysis, and key member of overall IT budgeting process.
Develop and maintain rolling IT roadmap planning for Infrastructure and Security.
Manage the college’s network architecture, infrastructure lifecycle, and ongoing maintenance.
Prepare and present analyses of budgets, business cases, and other related data as it pertains to Infrastructure and Security.
Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and architecture.
Collaborate with IT Operations to support incident, change, and problem management processes.
Ensure that the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability of Lakeland College's data is safeguarded.
Lead role in of Lakeland College’s IT Audit Risk and Audit team.

Job Requirements

Post secondary degree in related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. We will take into consideration related working experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, track detailed information, and ensure timelines are met.
Strong management skills, including the ability to coordinate projects, communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders, and work through problems in a practical and solution-focused way.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Continuing Administrative appointment (36.25 hours per week) on the Vermilion Campus, commencing as soon as possible. A comprehensive benefits package and pension are included. The salary range for this position is $91,283 to $119,544 per annum.
