Overview

We are a well-established and client-focused law firm seeking a detail-oriented and organized Litigation Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to providing exceptional support to our lawyers and clients.

Responsibilities

Open, organize, and maintain electronic client files.
Prepare client invoices and assist with billing and accounts receivable.
Draft routine correspondence and legal documents from precedents.
Maintain calendars and monitor key dates and deadlines.
Schedule meetings, client appointments, mediations, discoveries, and court appearances.
Prepare and assemble documents for filing and service.
File documents with the courts using electronic filing systems where applicable.
Communicate professionally with clients, lawyers, court registries, and other third parties.
Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct communications appropriately.
Maintain accurate file records and ensure documents are properly organized.
Assist with conflict checks, file closing, and archiving.
Provide general administrative support to lawyers and the litigation team as required.

Skills

Previous experience in a legal office, preferably in litigation.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
Professional, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
