Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring high-quality finishes.

Duties

Prepare metal parts for coating by cleaning, masking, and surface preparation
Operate powder coating equipment with precision to ensure even application
Manage material handling using forklifts to move parts safely within the facility
Perform quality inspections on coated products to meet specifications
Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment following safety protocols
Assist in setup and calibration of machinery

Qualifications

Prior experience in powder coating or related finishing processes is required
Mechanical knowledge and experience with powder coating equipment, hand tools and power tools
Familiarity with forklift driving and material handling equipment
Basic math skills for measurements and quality checks
Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and follow safety guidelines
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
